Call for Submissions: The Jersey City Ballet Choreography Project

The Jersey City Ballet Choreography Project is seeking submissions of original, classical and contemporary ballet works to be presented at Art House Productions’ intimate Black Box Theater on July 16th at 7:30 PM. Tech Rehearsal is Monday July 13th. Please note for tech, Art House's floor is stageglam which is a black matte surface. We will have marley installed for showtime. This is a ticketed event for the audience and tickets will be onsale through the Art House box office closer to showtime. 

We are looking for dynamic, engaging works that highlight the artistry and versatility of today’s ballet creators and performers.

Hudson County choreographers encouraged to apply

Submission Guidelines:
Works must be 7 minutes or less
Maximum of 8 dancers per piece

Must submit:
Rehearsal or performance video
Audio Music file (MP3/MP4)
Application fee: $10 (required for consideration)

Applications must be submitted through the jersey city ballet website here. 

Audio file AND rehearsal/performance video must be emailed to jerseycityballetmedia@gmail.com and CC admin@jerseycityballet.org to be considered. Please include your information with these assets. 

Application deadline: May 31st
Artists will be notified by June 10th
