Nacre Dance Group – Choreographer Submissions Open

Nacre Dance Group is seeking choreographers (18+) for Nuts and Crackers, a new winter performance at the Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, NY, taking place November 2026.

Selected choreographers will be assigned a section from Act II of The Nutcracker and invited to create original works that reimagine, expand, or reinterpret the material through their own choreographic voice. This project offers an opportunity to engage with a classical work in new and personal ways.

Works will be presented in the November 22, 2026 performance at the Universal Preservation Hall.

Details:

Performance: November 22, 2026 – Universal Preservation Hall, Saratoga Springs, NY
Technical/Dress Rehearsal: November 21, 2026 – Universal Preservation Hall
Stipend: $600 for all accepted choreographers upon performance completion
