The Kennedy Dancers, Inc. – Dancer Audition Opportunity

The Kennedy Dancers, Inc., a nonprofit professional repertory company based in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking 2 male and 2 female dancers for upcoming performances and ongoing company work.

We are looking for committed, versatile, and technically strong artists with training in ballet and contemporary dance who are ready to contribute to a dynamic and community-focused company.

Position Details:

- Rehearsal Start Date: Thursday, May 7
- Rehearsals: Thursdays & Fridays, 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
- Hourly Rehearsal Pay: $23/hour
- Performance Pay: $100 per performance

Performance Schedule:

- Annual Spring Recital: June 13 at 3:00 PM (Call time: 2:00 PM)
- Summer Performances at J. Owen Grundy Pier (Jersey City):
- July 9 at 5:00 PM (Call time: 4:00 PM)
- July 15 at 5:00 PM (Call time: 4:00 PM)
(Call time is 1 hour before performances)

Requirements:

- Strong foundation in ballet and contemporary technique
- Professional attitude and reliability
- Ability to fully commit to rehearsals and scheduled performances without conflicts
- Team-oriented with a passion for performance and community engagement
