we are bodycraft! founded in 2018 by professional modern dancer and personal trainer Emily Diers, bodycraft is a vibrant movement modality blending dance cardio and strength training to create a seamless flow experience. we help others connect to their body, heart, and expression through thoughtfully-guided movement and community connection.

we are looking for bodycraft trainers to join our team and teach the bodycraft modality. we are really interested in helping people to have a more friendly relationship with movement and their body, and open up a compassionate, flexible practice that doesn’t shame, punish, or judge. fun, flow, connection, and inclusion are important to us.

one year of teaching (fitness, pilates, yoga, preferred) is required.
dance education/training is required.
certifications are encouraged.

more about the role and training:

there is a 4-week paid training period where you are required to be in class minimum 1x per week, plus committed to the 4x weekly meetings (mondays 12-2pm, wednesdays 2-4pm, thursdays 12-2pm, fridays 12-2pm) from June 1-26.

trainers start out teaching one class per week and incrementally add more class times, as well as different bodycraft modalities, depending on your skills and interests.
bodycraft is a really creative, inventive, and expressive modality. we love working with people interested in choreography, who are very curious about the body, and connected to their artistic side. if you like to create, you will thrive in this role!

we are seeking people who are self-motivated, community-minded, reliable, punctual, and natural leaders. must be high energy performers who can move and speak with clarity and enthusiasm.
teachers are responsible for opening/closing the studio when applicable, and checking in their students for class. new trainers start at a base rate of $40 per class, with the opportunity to grow.
