PIAZZOLLA100: The New York Tango Festival is excited to share the Tango Dance Scholarship 2026 program with the dance community. This program underlines our commitment to supporting the dance field, including professional dancers, professional dance students, and dance educators, with a special focus on the South American Diaspora and the Latinx community.
2026 TANGO DANCE SCHOLARSHIPS:
1. Partial Scholarship to the “FULL DANCE PROGRAM” for 1 dance couple (two people)
2. Partial Scholarship to the “FULL DANCE PROGRAM” for one dancer
3. Full WORK-STUDY SCHOLARSHIP

Program Summary:
ELIGIBILITY: Scholarships are available to dancers over 18, residing in NY, NJ, CT, and working in the dance field. Dancers enrolled in a professional dance program and teaching artists are eligible. There is no age restriction for applicants.
REQUIREMENTS: Dancers must attend the full program of workshops, June 19-21. Other events are highly recommended and are included in your scholarship. Dancers must complete a survey and a short video testimonial following the completion of the program.
APPLICATION & DEADLINES: Scholarships are limited and awarded on a rolling basis through May 25, 2026, or until capacity is reached. We recommend submitting your application as soon as possible. The forms to apply are simple (your biography and optional dance reels or links to work samples). There is no fee to apply.
