STRATUM Journal of Art, Culture, and the Humanities invites essays, criticism, reflections, and text-based contributions for Issue 003: Commons.

This issue approaches the commons as shared ground: something we step onto before we know who has made it, who has cared for it, and who may still be kept at its edges. We are interested in writing that considers how common worlds are made, maintained, contested, and kept open across collective life, public space, care, exclusion, memory, and belonging.

We especially welcome submissions engaging performance, dance, embodied practice, public space, cultural memory, archives, migration, community formation, and other questions connected to shared life.

Open to artists, writers, researchers, curators, performers, cultural workers, and interdisciplinary practitioners.
We welcome submissions from writers, critics, researchers, artists, curators, and cultural practitioners whose work can hold complexity with clarity, precision, and a strong sense of relation.

There is no fee to submit. All submissions are reviewed individually, and only selected contributors will be contacted for publication.
