2027 TRISK ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE

The Trisk Artist-in-Residence program is designed for artists whose creative practice thrives in an immersive studio environment. Intended for projects already actively in development and moving toward premiere, the residency provides one artist annually with the time, space, and support needed to focus on the final stages of creating a new evening-length work. The six-month residency culminates in a three-night performance run in our theater.

NOTIFICATION DATE for all applicants: END OF JULY 2026

The program includes:

150 hours of fully subsidized rehearsal space to be used in any of our studios from DEC-JUNE 5, 2027

$1000 stipend

Lighting Design

Open rehearsal: two hours of studio rehearsal in the theater with our technical team and designers

Trisk Mini Tech: two hours of technical rehearsal prior to the start of the production week with our technical team and designers

Twenty hours of technical rehearsals during the production week of May 31, 2027

On-site prop storage

Dressing room lockout for the production week

Video documentation of all performances

Marketing meetings to discuss strategy and details

Website and social media marketing

Press releases and invitations to presenters, publications, and content creators

Virtual and printed program

A comprehensive digital packet, The Trisk Blueprint, consolidating marketing strategies, technical plans, and financial resources, as a tool for future productions and career growth

Unlimited free access to the Trisk “Think Tank” workspace

A three-evening performance series in our theater from JUNE 3-5, 2027. This series will feature the premiere of a newly developed work, crafted during the residency, presented as an evening-length performance.
