Central Park Dance is a vibrant, fast-paced dance studio in the heart of Scarsdale, NY — and we're looking for someone special to help lead it. We're not just looking for a great manager. We're looking for the person who walks in the door and instantly makes everyone feel like they belong — students, parents, staff, and first-time visitors alike.

This role is as much about people as it is about operations. As our Studio Manager, you'll be the face, voice, and essence of Central Park Dance. The energy you bring into the room sets the tone for everything — the culture, the vibe, the experience our students and families have every single day.

We want someone who is warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely lights up when they walk through the door. Someone who remembers names, makes people feel seen, and brings a contagious passion for what wedo. Being organized and sharp is a must — but being a connector and a community-builder is just as important.

What You'll Be Doing

-Setting clear performance goals and supporting your team in reaching them

-Dreaming up and executing strategies to help CPD grow

-Leading the full hiring and training process — building a team that reflects our values

-Making sure every department is delivering an exceptional experience to our clients

-Collaborating closely with Account Managers and senior staff to keep things running smoothly

Spotting inefficiencies and finding better ways to do things

-Overseeing big projects and digging into performance reports to guide smart decisions

-Keeping a close eye on the budget and the overall financial health of the studio

 

What We're Looking For

-A natural leader — someone who motivates, mentors, and lifts people up

-Sharp strategic thinking with real experience turning plans into results

-Solid understanding of budgets and financial management

-Outstanding communication skills — whether you're writing an email, running a meeting, or

having a tough conversation

-A calm, solutions-focused mindset when things get hectic (and sometimes they will!)

-Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball

-A genuine love for the dance world — experience or passion in dance is a big plus!

 

The Logistics

Full-time, 40+ hours per week

Availability on 1–2 weekend days per week required

5 years of management experience required

5 years of customer service experience required

High school diploma or equivalent required

Must be able to commute to Scarsdale, NY 10583
