SILO Dance - CALL FOR EMERGING CHOREOGRAPHERS TO PRESENT WORK

SILO Dance Fest is now receiving applications from emerging choreographers for curated performances October 9-10, 2026. Applications close July 6, 2026. Selected choreographers will receive 10 free hours of rehearsal space, and the opportunity to present their work in 3 fully produced shows. They will also receive tech time in the theater, lighting design consultation, as well as free photo and video of the performance.

SILO is a space where new work can take shape, be supported, and be seen. Our goal is to provide a fully produced stage, giving choreographers the opportunity to present their work with care and intention.

Guidelines

Choreographers (and dancers) must be available ALL DAY October 9+10, 2026. 

Choreographers must be NYC based in order to utilize the 10 free hours of rehearsal space. (Rehearsals taking place August-October 8th, 2026)

Work must be under 10 min in length.

Proposed works may be finished or still in process.

No more than 8 dancers.

Please only submit one piece per choreographer.

All genres/styles are encouraged to apply.

Performance space has marley and a lightly sprung floor. Shoes (tap as well!) are permitted. No heels please.

Projection/video may be permitted depending on scale.
