CALLING ALL DANCE FILM MAKERS...

Dance Canvas: On Film is an initiative to support dance and film artists interested in creating and producing dance films. With a similar structure as our Choreographer Career Development Initiative, we annually select up to 3 choreographers/Filmmakers for the program. Artists will be provided with production resources, access to dancers, access to rehearsal space, and promotion/marketing. Additionally, Choreographers will take workshops from industry experts in Editing, Concept design/storyboarding, Movement for camera, Producing and Distribution, and Lighting (*Note: Workshop descriptions are subject to change based on the selected artists).

This program is open to both choreographers seeking to develop skills in filmmaking, as well as filmmakers looking to work in partnership with movement artists.
