Drye/Marinaro Dance Company Seeking 2-3 Guest Artists for '26-'27 Season

Drye/Marinaro Dance Company is seeking 2-3 Guest Artists (with potential for a full company position) to join us for our 2026-2027 Company Season (Sep.-Jan. with potential to continue past these dates).

Dancers must have strong technique, sufficient partnering skills, strong emotional connection to movement, great performance quality, and great communication skills.

Auditions are invite only and will take place on Tuesday, August 18th from 4:30-7:30PM at a location to be shared upon invitation. Those interested should be available on Tuesdays, 4-8PM for weekly Company Rehearsals.

For consideration, please send your resume, headshot, and reel via email to dmdancecompanyauditions@gmail.com with subject "NAME, DM Audition Inquiry, 2026", and we will reach out with more information, including studio location for the in-person audition. At this time, we will not be offering a virtual option, and interested dancers must be present during the in-person audition date.

Materials must be submitted by Saturday, August 8th for consideration.

Drye/Marinaro Dance Company presents work honoring real life experiences. The process is a form of healing, and an outlet for the choreographers and dancers to tell our stories and express our truest voices. With community as the pillar of our artistic mission, we strive to create a safe space to connect to these real life experiences for our collaborators, professional artists, and viewers alike. Our work aims to intrigue audiences with thought-provoking themes, using dance as the medium to make connections about life and human interactions.

Planned Company Programming includes: 

 - Creative/Community Residency with The University Settlement 

 - Company NY interactive gala and performance

 - Tour & Shared bill in Stroudsburg, PA

 - APAP Showcase

 - Other performance and teaching engagements 

Base Contract and Compensation begins at $800, and is dependent on performance and rehearsal schedule.
