Seeking personal assistant for an older adult in Hell's Kitchen. Part-time, ~15/20 hours per week but flexible dependant on client's needs and assistant's availability. Great for performers with a flexible schedule- most days you will work ~2-7pm, but occasional morning and daytime availability is important as well.

Responsibilities include:

-Food shopping and managing food in the home

-Preparing varied meals in large quantaties (most of this role is cooking!)

-Laundry & folding

-Occasional package pickups/returns

-Accompanying client to medical appointments and occasionally walking her to the theater. 

 

Pay is via a Consumer Directed Personal Assistant Program (CDPAP) 

Client is an individual with some memory difficulties, so lots of patience and a calm, kind demeanor is a must! She loves the theater and loves to discuss musicals with the right person.
