Hey!! I’m currently casting 6 contemporary dancers to perform in the regional premiere of my piece “Finis Prope”(The End is Nigh). The performance will take place at the Center Stage Theater in Santa Barbara, CA the evening of August 9th. 
There will be one full cast rehearsal in the day August 8th. I will be asking the cast to learn much of the choreography from videos or potential zoom meetings. 
The piece is set in a dystopian world experiencing its last five minutes before destruction. The movement vocabulary consists of a mix of fast frantic flows and long yearning reaches. The second half of the piece is slightly altered retrograde showing a different view of the experience. I’m looking for dancers with strong performance quality and I’m super excited to see any and all unique movers.  Thank you so much for submitting!
