Ajna Dance Company is seeking talented dancers and teaching artists to join our growing roster for performances and arts education programs throughout the New York City area.

About Ajna Dance Company:
Ajna is a performing arts organization specializing in Indian dance forms, including Bollywood, Bhangra, and classical styles including Bharatanatyam and Kathak. Since 2013, Ajna has brought South Asian dance and culture to schools, theaters, festivals, museums, corporations, and community organizations through engaging performances and educational programming.

We're looking for artists who are passionate about both performance and education and are excited to inspire audiences of all ages.

We're Seeking:

Teaching Artists
- Experience teaching or a strong interest in arts education
- Comfortable working with students of various ages
- Training in Bollywood, Bhangra, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Garba, or other South Asian dance forms

Performers
- Strong technical ability and stage presence
- Versatility in South Asian dance styles
- Professional, reliable, and collaborative

Audition Information
Date: Wednesday, August 5th
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: Gibney Studios (exact studio provided upon confirmation)
What to Prepare: 
- A 1-2 minute dance solo showcasing your skills, 
- 5-minute teaching demonstration
- Be prepared to learn choreography
