Internationally-renowned contemporary dance company Gallim Dance offers a range of weekly classes for all experience levels, from beginners to professional dancers. Gallim has teamed up with ballet teacher, Ellie Kusner, to offer an affordable and challenging Ballet class for pre-professional and professional dancers. 

Ellie Kusner is a Bessie Award winning performer currently teaching various dance forms at Hofstra University, as well as pilates at The Juilliard School, NY Theater Ballet, and privately to dancers and non-dancers throughout the city. She was trained at Boston Ballet, where she performed with the company in countless productions, and at Barnard College, from which holds her BA. She has worked with a wide array of choreographers including Pam Tanowitz, Ellen Cornfield, Mark Morris (at the Met Opera), Meredith Monk, Nilas Martins, Anne Zuerner and many others. She recently earned an MSc in Dance Science from Trinity Laban, London, UK and as an independent lecturer on Dancer Health and Wellness, has presented from coast to coast and internationally.

Class reflects Ellie's anatomical knowledge, contemporary aesthetic sensibility, slight flare for the dramatic, and the total joy she finds in technical precision.

Classes begin Tuesday, September 9, 2014 and run through Thursdya, October 9th, 2014.
