"Sorry I Missed Your Show" presents a live screening of EYE ON DANCE spotlighting the 1988 5th Annual Bessie Awards Ceremony at BAM. Shot on location, it's loaded with performances by BIll T. Jones (solo), Bill Irwin, Valda Setterfield, Stephanie Skura Co., Ann Carlson, Edwin Lee Tyler, Blue Gene Tyrrany and comments by Bessie Schonberg, David White, Elizabeth Streb, among others. The EOD episode captures a tightly knit, iconoclastic community reflecting on a changing field and the impact of AIDS. After the screening, Celia Ipiotis (creator/host EOD) moderates a conversation with Lucy Sexton (Dir. of The Bessies) and Laurie Uprichard (Founding membe of the Bessies). Q & A is followed by a reception.
