19twelve is a performance project that explores the interrelation of music with dance, video animation and visual art. The project involves new music for dance composed by Moira Lo Bianco, featuring choreographer and dancer Megan Sipe, video animation by Aaron Gonzalez, and sound design by Quentin Chiappetta. The five sections of the program are inspired by 5 abstract paintings and each painting is paired with music, dance and video animation. The movements stem from the shapes, colors, and qualities in the painting. The dance moves in conversation with the music and the animated video.

By bus, take the M14A to Avenue A and 3rd Street or the M15 to 2nd Avenue and 3rd Street and walk east.

By car, take the FDR Drive to the Houston Street exit.

From Houston Street, make a right on Avenue C and then a left on East 3rd Street.
