2026 Dance Reflections Workshops – Kids

Two dancers, one male presenting and the other female presenting. Ben McKeown

As part of the second Dance Reflections Festival in New York, Van Cleef & Arpels invites young movers to step into the studio and experience contemporary dance up close through a series of kid-friendly workshops at The Joyce’s Center for Creativity & Dance.

Designed especially for children starting at age 6, these workshops are led by the very artists and dancers featured in the Festival’s performances — offering kids a rare opportunity to learn directly from world-class choreographers and companies they (and their families) will see on stage. Through movement, rhythm, and guided exploration, participants are introduced to contemporary dance in a welcoming, playful, and age-appropriate setting.

Workshops are open to beginners and require no prior dance experience. Class sizes are limited to allow for individual attention.
