Battery Dance Company will host its 33rd Annual Downtown Dance Festival, New York's longest-running FREE public dance festival, August 17-21, 6:00pm-8:00pm. Performances will feature thirteen companies from the United States, Spain, and Romania, including The Isadora Duncan Dance Company, Dorrance Dance/NYC, Mazzini Dance Collective, and New York Theatre Ballet's Elena Zahlmann. Set in a unique location along the Hudson at sunset, the festival is an opportunity for everyone to spend an evening in the park and celebrate dance from around the world.
