A Dancer's Christmas

A Dancer’s Christmas, a 35 year Boston Holiday Tradition, created by choreographer Robert Vereecke, will have it’s New York performances with the Chevalier Ballet company under the direction of Sara Knight. In addition to Chevalier, guest artists, Steven Cornwall from Kingston Jamaica and Maresa D’Amore Morrison will reprise their roles as Mary and Joseph. 

In its 35 year run at the Robsham theater at Boston College, A Dancer’s Christmas was known as “the religious alternative to the Nutcracker” (Boston Globe) It was described as one of the “few aritistic offerings during the Holiday season that truly takes into account the spiritual meaning of Christmas” (Boston Herald)

Along with its spiritual and celebratory value, “A Dancer’s Christmas” is an economic value as well. At $20, it is within the reach of many families who would like to do something special in this Holiday season.
