Ballet BC is thrilled to announce its inaugural Summer Intensive! Located at the company’s newly renovated facility on Vancouver’s Granville Island, the 44 Summer Intensive will take place from July 24 – August 5, 2023. 

The program offers 44 pre-professional and professional dancers aged 15 and up the opportunity to further develop their skill and artistry through a two-week, all-day curriculum. Participating dancers will gain invaluable experience in technique, improvisation, company repertoire, and the creative process, supporting the caliber and versatility required for a professional contemporary dance company such as Ballet BC.

In our spacious light-filled studios, dancers will share an inspiring environment while learning from and collaborating with Ballet BC’s outstanding company artists, artistic staff including Artistic Director Medhi Walerski, and other exciting guest artists.
