Teaching in NYC has been an interesting ride (6 1/2 hours to be exact). I wished people of all genres and backgrounds would take a chance and come to class cause everyone FEELS, BELIEVES, and MOVES which is what I concentrate on the most. Yes. there are technical positions to hit but there’s also freedom, social language, grooves, and raw movement as well. I thank all the humans who have posted about my class, attended, or even sat to observe and I urge the NYC dance community to come through for my last 3 weeks of class.
