Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance presents CLD Favorites & First Drafts, an evening of repertory and new work shared in conversation with the audience.

The program includes Facets (2008), a sculptural quartet set to the layered cello compositions of Zoë Keating, and Ru (2014), a powerful ensemble work performed to an original score by Scott Killian. Selections from The Folk Rock Studies explore the expressive range of iconic songs performed by Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, and Janis Joplin, including a new solo performed by choreographer and director Cherylyn Lavagnino. The evening concludes with La Mar Emocional (2025), a lyrical work featuring ocean-inspired movement and an original score by Killian.

Audiences are invited to experience CLD’s dynamic range of movement and music—where structure, rhythm, and feeling intersect.
