This 6-hour workshop delves into the art of handling various elements. Bring any objects—hats, flowers, a mirror, an umbrella, or anything else—and get ready for a fun, creative experience!
Luisa Cuesta is an Ecuadorian multidisciplinary artist based out of Spain. She is a Master in Advanced Theater Studies, Bachelor of Arts in Acting with a specialization in Visual Arts, Stage Director, Makeup Artist, and Photographer.
Her presence on stage focuses on Dramatic Corporeal Mime, a practice that has taken her to various stages around the world to share her skill not only as an actress but also as a producer and stage director.
As a visual artist, Luisa likes to explore with mixed media to materialize her metaphysic view of the world. She has held three artistic exhibitions in her hometown Ecuador: El pulpo gris (2017), NN (2018), and Gogó (2019). On April 2024 she showed her Ecuadorian Dreams collection in ProEcuador in NYC for the first time. This collection will be on exhibition at Helm Contemporary in NYC August 7-23, 2024.
She has presented several plays and operas such as Mozart's Così fan tutte, which was her most recent production (Sept. 2023), and Lauren Bernofsky's young audience opera, Mooch the Magnificent.
