Jianing Zhao is an experienced movement artist, dancer and choreographer. Her practice is centered on excavating imagined and archived narratives to create new embodied mythologies through immersive, movement-driven storytelling.

She’s running a free experimental workshop called “The Cartography of Memory,” inspired by the intersection of body movements and paper. The first 5 people get a $15 stipend to cover lunch/transit. The two workshops are the same, so you can pick whichever works best for you!
