Human Shakes cordially invites you to our very first
ChoreoTALK: An open forum for working choreographers of any dance genre who are based in the San Francisco Bay Area or any of the five boroughs of New York City.
This bi coastal virtual gathering will put choreographers in conversation with each other to discuss the practice of self-production and strategize ways in which we might make the relationship between choreographers and the venues where we produce our work in more sustainable and partnership-driven. By choreographers and for choreographers, these discussions are part of a new Human Shakes initiative which advocates for a more equitable landscape for dance makers. Open to SF Bay and NYC-based choreographers in any stage of their career who have a history of self-production.

Hosted by:

Tim Rubel, HS Artistic Director

Sonja Wright, HS Board President

Katherine Skinner, HS Board Vice President and Secretary.
