Chutzpah Dance presents Percolating
New York City-based dance company, Chutzpah Dance, presents Percolating, an evening showcase of works-in-progress dance pieces at The Tank on June 17 & 18, 2026.
Percolating is a curated dance showcase, led by Artistic Director Erica Isakower, offering artists a space to experiment, develop, and share new ideas with live audiences. The program highlights emerging choreographers and performers as they test boundaries, take creative risks, and explore movement-driven storytelling in an intimate setting.
This season’s showcase features Chutzpah Dance as they redefine company repertoire, How Far We Go, premiere a new dance work, How to Make Cotton Candy in collaboration with South Korean visual artist MiMi Lee, a new tap dance fusion piece, and more.
Presenting choreographic works alongside the Chutzpah Dance company and Training Company are emerging choreographers Claudia Logi, Amanda Egan, Carly Shraga, Taylor Gordon, Breath Dance Project, Alessia Palanti, Josh Luna, and Amanda Lindamood.

About Chutzpah Dance:
Chutzpah Dance is a non-profit contemporary and tap dance company led and founded by Erica Isakower. The company has toured nationally and internationally, performing in cities including New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Salt Lake City, and throughout New Jersey. Internationally, Chutzpah Dance has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, the Mood Indigo Festival in India, and artsinTANK Festival in South Korea.
In addition to performance and creation, Chutzpah Dance actively cultivates platforms for emerging choreographers. The company curates performances that amplify marginalized voices across identities and experiences, offering artists the opportunity to share their work without financial barriers. Chutzpah Dance is also deeply invested in community engagement and accessible training. Its professional training company offers low-cost technique classes and rehearsal processes for pre-professional dancers. Chutzpah Dance also offers drop-in workshops designed to serve dancers from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels.
