Across two dynamic days, McKoy Dance Project (MDP) ignites the stage with powerful premieres and bold contemporary voices.

The Collective Voices Dance Festival features new works and company premieres by Harlem Stage 2025 WATERWORKS Fellow and Artistic Director Derick McKoy, Jr., including Overcurrent and Suite for the Brokenhearted, alongside a brand-new creation from emerging contemporary choreographer Miguel Miranda, It’s All Burned Down! The program also marks the return of Derick’s acclaimed Alegría. Tickets start at $25

In addition, four emerging choreographers (Valkyrie Yao, Lindsay Jorgensen, Shaina McGregor, and Lauryn Crowell) will present their work during the festival, with two selected by audience vote as our People’s Choice artists—earning the opportunity to showcase their pieces on both evenings for greater visibility and impact.
