Train with Pointeworks during our NYC Residency at New York City Center. Designed for intermediate to advanced dancers of all ages, this two-part workshop offers a look inside the technical, artistic, and creative values that shape Pointeworks’ work onstage and in the studio.

Led by Artistic Director Sophie Williams and Pointeworks dancer Rayleigh Vendt, this morning experience blends technique, musicality, and repertory created by female-identifying choreographers commissioned by Pointeworks.

Dancers may participate in the full morning or select individual sessions. Class is from 9:15-10:30 and rep learning is from 10:30-11:30

Instead of focusing on traditional variations, dancers learn repertory shaped by female choreographers—movement rooted in musicality, storytelling, grounded technique, and contemporary ballet vocabulary.

By teaching excerpts from our current NYC residency, we offer an immersive experience for young artists and ballet enthusiasts who want to understand how new ballet is created today—and what it feels like to step inside a professional rehearsal environment.
