Company Premiere: Peter and the Wolf

Following the successful first season of Evenings of Dance in Port Chester, the Company of Ballet des Amériques comes to the Emelin Theatre with the premiere of Peter and the Wolf, a ballet by Carole Alexis based on the well-known story and music of Sergei Prokofiev. 

Preceding the Company performance will be an opening program danced by the preprofessional students including Boléro, music by Maurice Ravel, and Jeux d’enfants or Children’s Games, a set of twelve miniatures by Georges Bizet, all choreographed by Artistic Director Carole Alexis.

Ballet des Amériques is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization operating a preprofessional ballet training program and a professional dance company, and is based in Port Chester, New York.

Aline Pilates Mat Teacher Training: Summer Intensive & Comprehensive Certification Program  Aline is offering Teacher Training this summer! Whether you want to deepen your practice or begin the path toward teaching, this program offers a focused, immersive experience in the foundations of the classical Pilates method. Aline will be accepting a small, intimate group to ensure personalized guidance and support throughout the training.  Schedule (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) • June 20–21 — Beginner Mat • July 25–26 — Intermediate Mat  Location: 236 Carroll Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231  Investment: $450 per weekend  You do not need to commit to both weekends—you are welcome to choose the session that best fits your goals. Flexible options are available to complete Mat training at Aline or through another approved program.  Space is limited- secure your spot and take the next step in your teaching journey!
