Join acclaimed choreographer Kevin Iega Jeff for a dynamic workshop exploring movement vocabulary from his choreographic repertory. 

The class will begin with a warm-up and movement preparation informed by classical modern dance techniques and contemporary approaches that have shaped Jeff’s choreographic voice. Participants will then learn repertory phrases drawn from one of his works, engaging musicality, storytelling, and expressive performance while gaining insight into his creative process.  

Kevin Iega Jeff is honored to reconnect with the AILEY community, where he both trained and choreographed earlier in his career. He is the Founder of JUBILATION! Dance Company (Brooklyn, NY), Lead Co-Founder of Deeply Rooted Dance Theater (Chicago), and Artist/CEO of iegaMOVES. Internationally recognized as a choreographer, educator, and cultural leader, his work spans more than four decades and has been performed by professional companies, universities, and community ensembles throughout the United States and abroad.
