the 19th annual DANCE PARADE, that spectacular celebration of dance of all styles, will take place May 17th, starting at 11:30 AM with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6th Avenue & 17th Street.  Over 150 dance groups, thousands of dancers from ballet to breakdance, colorful floats, live bands, and you name it! will parade down 6th Ave., starting at noon, crossing 8th St. and ending at approx. 4 pm in Tompkins Square Park for more free performances and dance classes.
