Dancing Crane 22-year anniversary concert

The Dancing Crane Company, well-known as the home of Georgian culture in New York City and noted for its brilliant performances of Georgian dances and songs, will celebrate its 22-year anniversary with a special performance at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College in Manhattan on Saturday, March 17 at 6:30 pm.  

The concert will include the power and beauty of the Dancing Crane Georgian Dance Ensemble, the haunting melodies of Georgian traditional music by Dancing Crane’s 3 music groups – Men’s Choir “Zekari”, Women’s Trio “Magnolia” and the Dancing Crane City Song Quartet, humor and drama by NY’s only Georgian repertory theater, The Georgian Theater of New York and an evening filled with artistic remembrances of 22 years for this remarkable company.

This performance is dedicated to the 100-year anniversary of Georgian independence in 1918.
