Create your dance reel for: auditions, grants, and college applications with GALLIM & Director & Choreographer Mary John Frank!

Editing reels can be time consuming,pricey, and generally, just A LOT! This workshop teaches self sufficiency and provides dancers and performers with editing basics so they can confidently create, update, and share their reels and work. This dance & filmmaking workshop provides students with GALLIM repertory by Andrea Miller, improvisation coaching, filming and editing vocabulary, and basic technical skills, it will be fun too!

This full weekend at the New York Center of Creativity and Dance includes editing and camera courses, filming yourself and a fellow dancer, and is followed by one-on-one editing support, and mentorship with Mary John Frank throughout the process. Students can use their own dance footage and include new GALLIM repertory by Andrea Miller, and will have the opportunity to share their reels with MJ post workshop for one on one feedback.

The Friday class will be led by Mary John Frank on zoom. Saturday and Sunday classes will all take place at The New York Center for Creativity and Dance in New York City.
