We are thrilled about the return to live performance, but the appetite for a multi-disciplinary approach to art-making that combines movement-based work with cinema is here to stay, and we have tools to share! These synchronous Dancing with the Camera zoom workshops offer an opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in one specific aspect of dance filmmaking, acquire new skills, and make direct connections with professional practitioners. Upcoming topics include, the business of filmmaking, transitioning from dancer to filmmaker, choreographing for the screen, directing 101, cinematography, editing, and sound design.

Each synchronous session will include time for direct dialogue with the guest practitioners as well as 2 weeks of on-demand access to the recorded session.

All workshops are held on Zoom
