UBW’s summer dance intensive invites dance artists to a week of rigorous training, research, and creative process with the UBW company.

Experience Required: Intermediate – Advanced (18+)

Step into a week of rigorous training, creative investigation and process, and community-centered practice with UBW. The company’s revolutionary art-making practices and methodologies intentionally validate the truth, glory, and authenticity of our histories, culture, and bodies. This summer dance intensive invites pre-professional and professional dance artists (intermediate–advanced, 18+) to uproot tools of physical investigation within an embodied laboratory, where technique, purposeful storytelling, and collective power meet.
