Eight Dances by Elizabeth Buchheister

Dancers move in between the title Eight Dances

Elizabeth Buchheister is a graduate from the Ailey School’s certificate program and is an independent choreographer and producer. Her choreography has been seen at showcases across NYC, Philadelphia, and Baltimore, and she has created works for Ballet Hartford and the new opera Gracchus. Elizabeth’s work is often inspired by philosophy, the human experience, and religious faith. She draws from her love for modern dance techniques, musicality and a passion for using each new work to advance both her compositional technique and the technical growth of the dancers. This diverse program of Eight Dances is the culmination of her first five years as a choreographer and her first solo-choreographed performance.
