This event is in-person and will also be live-streamed.

Fall Movement, part of CPR’s bi-annual festival (with Spring Movement) of premiere presentations by a wide range of dance and performance artists, returns after an 18-month hiatus.

After Spring Movement in 2020 was canceled due to the pandemic, CPR has invited those artists to reimagine their work this fall, and Fall Movement will feature new work by MOLLY&NOLA, Sadi Mosko, Jessica Nicoll, Kalliope Piersol, and Valerius Productions.

Selected by a peer artist panel through an open call, Spring Movement in 2020 was originally curated by Nicole Loeffler-Gladstone, Annie Wang, and Cyrah Ward.

Each year, CPR – Center for Performance Research presents Fall Movement and Spring Movement, weekend-long festivals of works by local and international emerging and established artists in dance and performance. The festivals feature new works and premieres by a range of artists, companies, or collectives, and often include unique collaborations with filmmakers, musicians, and visual artists. Artists are selected through an open call application process.

Important note regarding Covid-19: The safety of CPR’s artists, visitors, and staff is our top priority. In accordance with the NYC mandate, documentation showing proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 (at least 14 days after final dose) will be required to enter CPR. A physical or photocopy of your vaccination card or NYS Excelsior Pass will be acceptable. CPR may also require masks or social distancing, at its sole discretion.
