Offers 2 amazing classes starting Friday February 6, 2015 for kids and adults

 

CREATE A PUPPET SHOW!   Play on stage, making masks and puppets to create a show!

FRIDAYS 3:15-4:15 pm

10 Classes starting 2/6/2015 for kids ages 4-6

TRIAL CLASS: $25

Using simple techniques of collage, drawings and assembling, students will create a story first, then act the story and build puppets from simple elements such as an apple, a paper plate, a plastic cups etc.

Each lesson includes different elements of music, dancing, movement and acting. The students will prepare the puppet show by making up the show themselves and rehearsing with the puppets. They will learn how to improvise, freely create and then shaping such improvisation into a show.

Teacher Laura Caparrotti will provide visual aids such as videos and books to best explain students what a puppet is and how it works, and will also show how the theater works using masks and puppets.

Each lesson will include some words in Italian. Notes with Italian dictionary will be provided. Before the final show each student will show what Italian language they have learned. 
 

FLAMENCO FRIDAYS
for kids and adults

Join our KIDS and ADULTS unique FLAMENCO FRIDAYS beginner classes to learn about team work, different rhythms and patterns of clapping and body percussion, together with the elegance and grace of the flamenco dance. This technique improves posture, coordination and musicality, giving a beautiful and unforgettable experience.

Kids classes for 5 or older.
