Sunday, January 11, 2026
Two free performances: 4:30pm and 7:30pm
NYU Jack Crystal Theater
111 Second Avenue, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10003

PATH reflects on the phenomenon of the Camino de Santiago — the ancient Catholic pilgrimage route across northern Spain. Composed by Joby Talbot for a cappella choral ensemble, the text comprises excerpts from historical and sacred documents in several languages, along with original material by poet Robert Dickinson. The transformation experienced by those who travel this path is not unlike the experience of making art. Both artists and spiritual seekers are searching for meaning – giving ourselves over to the pursuit of life’s purpose. With original choreography by Seán Curran, PATH is performed by eight dancers and includes visual design by Mark Randall, lighting design by Robert Wierzel, and costume design by Liliana Casabal.

This event is made possible through the NYU Tisch Department of Dance and is shared with choreographer André Zachery, Artistic Director of Renegade Performance Group, who will perform a solo, AGAINST GRAVITY, at 4pm and 7pm. All guests are welcome to arrive early to experience his work. There will be a 5-minute pause between André's performance and Seán Curran Company's performance of PATH. RSVP required: https://path.simpletix.com/
