This 3‑hour workshop is for dancers ready to step beyond performance and begin shaping themselves as full artists.

We open with a Dance Identity share — a solo, a teaching clip, or any movement expression. This is not an evaluation; it’s a grounding exercise to help you reflect on your voice and artistic identity.

From there, we move into the realities of today’s dance field:

•  How the dance ecosystem and its economics actually work

•  What sustainability looks like for artists today

•  Trauma‑informed principles as a foundation for safer, more effective teaching and artistry

•  The evolving definition of “artist” in a competitive landscape
