Did you hear?! Global Mashups are back at Flushing Town Hall! 

On Friday, May 19, we’ll be welcoming artists representing elements of Irish and Mexican culture to the Flushing Town Hall stage. In typical Global Mashup fashion, each artist will play an individual set, then the two artists will come together and present an exciting cross-cultural sound like no other. The dance floor will also be open, so bring your dancing shoes! 

The first of our two artists set to perform is traditional Irish musician Cillian Vallely, who will bring to our stage the pipes and whistles of the Emerald Isle. Next we have the cross-cultural sounds of Jarana Beat, a "Mexico-via-Brooklyn" band who will create a percussive melody perfect for dancing, drawing on roots of Afro-Amerindian culture.
