Grimm

Dancers bring the audience in a fairy tale world Nir Arieli

"Grimm" is an engaging performance and panel discussion that combines movement and storytelling to address social issues through three fairy tales. The work explores well- and lesser-known themes in "The Frog Prince," "Cinderella," and female Caribbean legends such as The Soucouyant, to present important themes that relate to topics of social concern, including gender and racial issues and immigrant relations. "Grimm" aims to spark conversation about cultural values and act as an artistic vehicle to respond to our county’s widening, divisive atmosphere.
