We are pleased to announce the first of what we hope will be a monthly improv You will be offered a new improv structure wherin dancers can conduct each other using hand signals. We have been using this technique for several years for many performances as an ensemble (see, e.g., linked video). We recently held auditions and many more people were nterested than we could accept into the ensemble and several candidates expressed interest in learning and sharing this approach to improv. Dancers are free to include contact improv withing this structure should they wish, or ay other form of movement they might enjoy. All are welcome. $5 contribution requested. Hope to see you there!
