If There Were A Moon

Alice Farley birds Fernando Azevedo

The Madison Square Park Conservancy presents the Alice Farley Dance Theater in Farley's "If There Were A Moon," a dance of gesture and image designed to conjure moonlight by day.  Farley's unique works combine magic and circus with puppetry, elaborate surreal visuals, and dance.   The company of 10 will be joined by extraordinary artist and Sufi teacher Felicia Norton, and will perform among the exhibit of sculptures by Diana Al-Hadid entitled "Delirious Matter."  For the original score, Farley has once again collaborated with composer Peter Garland.
