Kyle Marshall Choreography (KMC) will hold a 4-day workshop moving through KMC’s current process and repertory. Movers of all experience are welcome.

Each session will be led by Artistic Director Kyle Marshall with different KMC company members; Bree Breeden, Cayleen Del Rosario, Niara Hardister, Jose Lapaz-Rodriguez and Nik Owens.

We will begin with a welcoming circle and an improvisation score to expand our artistic voice and build connection. Traditional modern warm ups will be spun with a post-modern curiosity around momentum, power and alignment. Musicality, rhythm and body percussion will be encouraged through sound/movement compositional play. A movement phrase will complete each day encouraging us to move together through parts of KMC’s current repertory. Space for group discussion and self-reflection will build a safe, supportive environment for embodying. Through this workshop, we wish to make space to expand our individual artistic voices, harness our physical potential and build community through sharing KMC’s process.
