LOVE DANCING? LOVE KIDS? WE NEED YOU!

A HOTR Volunteer Performs a Dance with our Young Superheroes! Kira Bucca

Are you a dedicated, passionate dancer who wants to make a difference? Join other volunteer teaching artists as they share their love of dance with children in Jersey City, NJ.

House of the Roses offers homeless and at-risk children free weekly on-site dance workshops at partner outreach facilities, such as homeless shelters and community centers.

We are looking for dancers who love to teach, and are available on Mondays at 4:00 P.M. in Jersey City (near Exchange Place Path, 5 minutes from downtown NYC). You will visit an outreach facility with a team of other volunteers to work with the kids. Every week, you will see the kids take steps big and small, towards creative freedom and expression. You will also receive training in dance and teaching techniques from our staff of qualified and experienced lead teachers. You will be in the company of other committed, energetic and talented dancers who all want to make a positive impact on childrens' lives.

Questions or to RSVP, please email: lauren@houseoftheroses.org and learn more at www.houseoftheroses.org
