La Academia Pre-Professional Auditions

The La Academia Pre-Professional program in the School of Dance is a unique intensive training system developed with the full spectrum of the Ballet Hispánico curriculum that aims to produce a well-rounded dancer. After years of training in La Academia, a dancer will possess: 

* Superior classical technique founded in Cuban methodology, unique to Ballet Hispánico
* A strong understanding of contemporary and Flamenco dance forms to diversify and strengthen their education

* A musical and multicultural dance perspective to support a versatile career path

Audition requirements:

* Arrive 30 minutes prior to audition time.

* Bring a headshot.

* Attire: Females in pink tights, ballet shoes, and leotard. Males in fitted t-shirt and leggings.

* Students with prior flamenco experience should bring shoes and castanets.
