For advanced to professional dancers

Cecily Campbell of Trisha Brown Dance Company leads experienced and professional dancers through phrase material and compositional explorations from the late choreographer’s work. The class begins with a warm-up to integrate the breath and full dimension of the body, with movement exercises focusing on awareness of spacial clarity and efficiency into our physicality. Participants will use improvisation to get inside the bones of some of Brown’s choreographic ideas and then incorporate those ideas into specific phrases from Brown’s 1985 piece Working Title.
