This special evening is a virtual, free-to-stream and public celebration of MOVE|NYC|'s evolution and will feature performance excerpts and behind the scenes footage from the past 5 years, intimate conversations with past and present dancers in the Young Professionals Program, surprise celebrity cameos, and so much more! In true MOVE fashion, we'll have you and your friends grooving, smiling, and becoming lifelong lovers of all things MOVE|NYC|!!! Funds raised from the event will ensure that our mission, impact, and future not only prevails but THRIVES for the years to come.

In honor of our 5th Anniversary and in light of these unprecedented times, The Meringoff Family Foundation has generously offered to match all donations up to $25,000 leading up to our 5th Anniversary Virtual Celebration. We are beyond grateful for the Foundation's leadership support and championed belief in our mission. 

When MOVE|NYC| began mentoring and training young artists, ages 13 to 21, in New York City and beyond, we took on the beautiful and much-needed challenge to provide tuition-free and 75% subsidized programming to alleviate financial barriers and to ensure that their artistic dreams are possible. Likewise, we have always been cognizant that artists of color face the toughest roadblocks to achieving a successful career in the dance profession. As such, we are deeply committed to increasing opportunity and visibility in the dance field primarily for Black/African American, Latino/Hispanic, and Asian artists, at the earliest stages of their career.

Since 2015, we have been immensely grateful to our diverse community of supporters, like you, who have helped us to creatively nurture over 300 pre-professional dancers who have since matriculated to reputable colleges and conservatories across the nation.

We want you to know that this 5-year milestone was only made possible because of your financial support, and we hope that you will continue to propel our mission and unparalleled offerings forward, allowing us to be proactive about our young artists' needs now and into the future.
